Poshan Pakhwada Campaign_Suarajpur

The Poshan Pakhwada Campaign, a collaborative initiative by UNICEF, We the People Foundation, and Rehana Foundation, achieved remarkable success at the Government Higher Secondary School in Bhatgaon. This concerted effort, supported by the Women and Child Development Department, focused on raising nutrition awareness among school children.

The campaign's primary objective was to educate students about the importance of nutrition and its impact on health, with a special focus on preventing ailments like anemia. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and the use of multimedia resources, students received comprehensive information on healthy dietary habits and local nutrition solutions. Engaging activities and expert insights from UNICEF, Rehana Foundation, and local authorities enriched the program, ensuring active student participation and enthusiasm. 

The success of the Poshan Pakhwada Campaign was marked by the collective efforts of students, teachers, and community stakeholders. Their involvement underscored the significance of addressing nutrition-related challenges at the grassroots level. Moving forward, the campaign's momentum will be sustained by incorporating nutrition education into the school curriculum and organizing periodic workshops, in collaboration with community organizations and government agencies. 

This initiative reaffirmed the commitment to fostering a culture of nutrition awareness and healthy living, ensuring the holistic development of children and communities in Bhatgaon.
